For some, the physical act of writing is a barrier for fluent written expression (graphomotor difficulties, dysgraphia, grip, coordination, visual/spacial or perceptual difficulties, spelling errors that require frequent erasures, etc), and it prevents the child from producing work at the level of their potential.
